About Revival K9, LLC
Our Training Philosophy
At Revival K9 Training Academy & Care Facility, we believe successful training starts with understanding—not simply obedience but the complexity of behaviors.
Our philosophy is built around the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach, which emphasizes using the least intrusive, most effective training strategies appropriate for each individual dog. We prioritize building trust, clear communication, and emotional well-being while helping dogs develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday life.
Every dog is an individual. Genetics, environment, previous experiences, health, motivation, and learning style all influence behavior. Because of this, every training program we create is customized to fit both the dog and their family.
Our programs emphasize:
-
Building a strong relationship between dog and owner.
-
Teaching a clear communication system through markers and consistent clarity.
-
Using reinforcement to create lasting, reliable behaviors.
-
Educating owners on canine body language, stress signals, learning theory, and behavioral management.
-
Creating practical skills that transfer into real-world environments and not just at home.
We don’t believe training ends when a program is over. Our mission is to give owners the knowledge, confidence, and skills to continue their dog’s success for years to come. Providing lifetime support through text, calls, videos and in-person training.
Our focus isn’t simply creating obedient dogs. It’s creating confident dogs, educated owners, and lifelong partnerships built on trust, communication, and understanding.
At Revival K9, every dog’s training journey is built on a foundation of proven experience and hands-on expertise.
Led by Bri Smith, a professional dog trainer since 2018, Revival K9 specializes in behavior management, reactivity, and real-world obedience. With a background in LIMA training, a strong emphasis on clear communication, and extensive experience working with complex cases. This is including aggressive, fearful and high-drive dogs. Bri brings both structure and understanding to every program tailored to your dog’s learning style.
Her experience spans pet dogs, working dogs, and sport prospects, with continued education in dog behavior, emotional cognition, and training methodologies to ensure the highest standard of results.
Supporting this work is a team of experienced trainers and apprentices who are actively learning, developing their skills, and assisting in the day-to-day care and training of dogs under direct guidance. Every dog in our care is overseen and handled with intention, ensuring consistency, clarity, and progress throughout their program.
At Revival K9, you’re not just working with a team—you’re working under a system built on experience, accountability, and results. We create lasting relationship with you and your dog to ensure that you both are successful.
