Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

1) How long does training take?

2) Do you use e-collars?

3) What area do you serve?

4) What vaccinations are required?

1)

Training timelines vary based on the dog’s age, temperament, prior experience, and the goals you have. Some dogs make noticeable progress within the first few sessions, while others require more time to build confidence, reliability, and neutrality. Most foundational programs range from 2–6 weeks, while behavior modification or advanced off-leash work may take longer. Training is a process, not a quick fix, and consistency at home plays a major role in long-term success.

2)

Yes — when appropriate. We are a balanced training facility, meaning we use a combination of positive reinforcement, clear communication, and fair corrections. E-collars are never used as a shortcut and are only introduced after a dog understands the behaviors being asked. When used correctly, e-collars act as a communication tool, not punishment, and are layered thoughtfully alongside rewards, leash guidance, and relationship building.
